I am a Stay At Home Mom and when my son was two years old and my daughter was four I constantly found myself saying, “Play Nice”, “Don’t Hit”, “Share” and “Be Gentle” to both of them. I started paying attention and noticed that all of my friends were requesting the same of their children and on play grounds and play dates those words are repeated over and over!

I launched Wear Your Manners in 2005 and have received a very warm welcome from Parents, Grandparents, Teachers and Caregivers everywhere! My personal favorite is when my son raises his hand to hit his big sister and I can say, “Hudson, what does your shirt say”? He’ll look at his “Don’t Hit” Tee and lower his hand! I also make it a point to dress my daughter in her pink “Share” shirt before play dates to remind her to Share – something that is hard for young children to do. When I send my children to school in their Wear Your Manners, the Teachers use it as a tool to remind them to “do what your shirt says”! It really does work and the kids love it!
